CONTEMPORARY COLLECTION DESIGN

Mascia Meccani was born in Pisa in 1970. After attending the Technical Institute for Surveyors in Pisa, he enrolled in the Faculty of Architecture in Florence, graduating in 1998 with the highest marks and honors in architectural design. During his studies and immediately after he collaborated with his father Ferdinando Meccani in numerous design projects, interior design and architecture. In 2000 he was responsible for the architectural firm "Meccani Studio" in collaboration with his brother Pietro Meccani and his father Ferdinando Meccani, in these years he mainly deals with architecture, realizing projects for housing units and public bodies. The passion for interior design, breathed into the family since childhood, pushes her back to the design of furniture and design objects made of wood and terracotta.

"S7" Piazza dei Miracoli, Pisa
La decorazione del piano eseguita a mano come in un quadro si ispira allo stile Romanico Pisano della Cattedrale di Pisa e delle pievi medioevali del territorio pisano dove l'alternanza dei colori bianco e verde/grigio dei marmi forma disegni astratti.
Ogni tavolino è un pezzo unico realizzato artigianalmente in legno decorato e terracotta verniciata di Montelupo Fiorentino.
